7 Day Botswana Safari
DAY 1-2: Arrival in Kasane (A town in Chobe)
If you are going on a 7 day Botswana safari, I highly recommend you start in Kasane and exist via Maun because it gets better and better as you move up north. Depending on where you are travelling from, you can do a lot on your first day in Kasane.
You can go on a game drive in Chobe National Park and, of course, the Chobe cruise, which is a famous activity in the area. Overall, two days in Kasane are enough to explore the town and do all the activities it has to offer.
Additionally, if you are up for it, you can even go on a Victoria Falls day trip; however, you will be on a very tight schedule if you have only two days in Kasane.
Day 3-4: Moremi Game Reserve
Moremi Game Reserve is a must-visit destination and a well-known, beloved part of the Okavango Delta, often referred to as the most beautiful reserve in Africa. These areas are teeming with diverse wildlife.
Additionally, Moremi Game Reserve is well known for African predator sightings, so be sure not to miss it on your trip to Botswana.
Furthermore, if you are on a Botswana self drive safari, you will pass through Savuti, which is a remarkable safari destination in its own right.
7 Day Botswana Safari: Khwai Concession detour

At this point, you will be closer to Maun; a charter from the Okavango Delta to Maun usually takes around 45 minutes. Furthermore, Maun is an excellent exit point to other destinations.
From my observation, safari travellers exiting through Maun are heading to Cape Town. Moreover, there are direct flights from Maun to Cape Town, making this route particularly favourable for travellers.
