After staying at the highly recommended Tuludi camp, I am here to add my 2 cents to Tuludi camp reviews in the hope that it helps you make an informed decision when choosing your safari camps.

Botswana has many safari camps, which means visitors have plenty to choose from. While this is a good thing, it can be overwhelming for travellers trying to pick their camps.
But don’t you worry. As someone who has stayed at Tuludi camp, I’m writing a review based on my experience to help you choose the best safari camps.
In this post, you are going to learn about Tuludi camp reviews, Tuludi camp prices, and everything else in between. After reading this post, you will definitely be looking forward to staying at this camp. It does live up to the hype.
This post is all about Tuludi camp reviews.
Tuludi Camp Reviews
Location
This wild beauty is located inside the Khwai Private Reserve in the Okavango Delta. The location itself tells you you will have a fantastic time here. After all, it is the Okavango Delta! This area has prolific game.
I loved the location of this camp; it is remote and gives you the true feel of the African wilderness. For some, the location might be a downside, but I promise this remote safari location offers a safari experience like no other.
How to get to Tuludi camp
Getting to the Okavango Delta can be done by flying, driving yourself, or taking a guided tour. Obviously, that depends on where you are travelling from.
That said, since we are talking about Tuludi camp, which is located inside Khwai private reserve, just to let you know, you cannot go on a self-drive safari in this area.
How do I get there myself? I usually travel from Gaborone to Maun. Then, from Maun, I take a bush plane, which is the quickest way to get there. Travelling from Gaborone to Okavango is quite easy. The only downside of using the charter plane is the price; they tend to be pricey.
Another option my guide suggested was to get to Maun, then hire a driver to drop you off at the camp; it is much more cost-effective that way.
The drive is about 4 hours, which is not bad at all. Had I known this, I wouldn’t have bought that plane ticket. For some reason, I thought Tuludi Camp was farther away from Maun than it actually was.
Tululi camp reviews: First impression

Jaw-droppingly gorgeous! That was my first impression. This camp is breathtaking. To add to that, this was my first safari ever, so I was mesmerised by the whole thing.
The design, architecture, and tents, which by the way, calling them tents feels misleading because they are these spacious luxurious suites. They were beautiful. The camp blends well with the bush. This camp is now my favourite Botswana safari camp.
Tuludi camp prices
Tuludi camp sounds wonderful, but what are the prices? You might ask. Tuludi camp prices range from £1330 to £2600 per person sharing. This price includes accommodation, activities, meals, and sometimes transfers. Needless to say, it is more expensive during the peak season.
One thing to keep in mind if you are travelling solo is that you might have to pay a supplementary rate, which is basically an extra fee for travelling solo. I have paid the fee, unfortunately, and it is not fun.
Anyway, if you are visiting multiple locations, I highly recommend the safari package and asking your safari operator to add the camps of your choice to the itinerary. It will save you money and time.
What do I think of the price? It is expensive but absolutely worth it.
Food and drink
Not only is this place gorgeous, but it serves delicious food. I was definitely impressed by the variety of meals and the calibre of the food. The chef’s attentiveness was amazing. The service here is impeccable. Moreover, you will be well fed at Tuludi.
Furthermore, everyone at this camp was so friendly and attentive that I can confidently recommend it to solo travellers.
The property
This camp is elegantly elevated off the ground, built on wooden platforms and connected by boarded paths. Tuludi have 7 suites, which makes it feel incredibly intimate and exclusive. The suites are spacious and beautiful. The attention to detail in everything in this place is amazing. From outdoor showers and bathtubs to interior decor, everything is exceptional.
The property includes a stunning lounge, an indoor dining area, an outdoor dining space, and a big swimming pool overlooking the bush. Additionally, each suite has its own private swimming pool, smaller than the communal one. The mosaic bar, however, is a showpiece, a true work of art. I will give it 10/10.
Also, there is a library and a small shop on site that mainly sells souvenirs and other safari essentials, such as hats and flip-flops. The kind of things you are likely to forget to add to your packing list.
Furthermore the are sky beds not far from the camp. If you want to make your Botswana safari trip even more adventurous, I suggest you consider it. When I was visiting, the skybeds were closed, but I went there to have a look. It looked like a really adventurous activity. Sleeping under the stars in the African wilderness! How dreamy can it get!
What to do at Tuludi Camp
Walking safari
I can’t necessarily review this activity because I did not do it. It was offered, but I declined because I’m afraid to go on a walking African safari in an unfenced area. But here is what I can say: it is a common activity, and travellers seem to love it. So if you are a brave, daring, adventurous traveller, a walking safari might be for you.
Game drives

Because Tuludi camp is located in the legendary Okavango Delta, wildlife sighting in this area is superb. Most safari enthusiasts prioritise wildlife over their accommodation, but let me tell you, Tuludi has you covered on both.
I was able to see members of the big 5, except the rhino. However, I saw wild dogs, and I was elated because they are a rare sighting. The highlight of my safari game drive was seeing all 4 members of the big 5 in one game drive, including a pride of lions.
Furthermore, since the reserve is private, off-road driving is common, allowing visitors to track and get close to the animals. Also, the guides are highly knowledgeable about the wilderness and its wildlife. It was always an awesome experience.
Okavango Boat Cruise
I loved this activity. I opted for a boat cruise instead of a mokoro, and it was such a calm, peaceful adventure. The view and sunset are incredible, and you will get some beautiful pictures.
The only drawback is that you won’t be able to see much wildlife. I saw a small crocodile and some birds, and that was about it. When it comes to water safari, Chobe wins.
Lounging at the camp
If you are not on a game drive, you can just relax at the main lounge, admiring the beautiful scenery of this area. You might be able to spot some wildlife. I managed to spot a few elephants. Moreover, if you want some privacy, you can relax in your suite, you’ll have your own private deck and a swimming pool.
Skybeds
If you’re interested in this activity, check availability when planning your trip. The place looked delightful. I think it will be perfect for couples and honeymooners, or anyone looking to sleep under the stars in the African bush.
My overall experience
I had a magical time at Tuludi camp. To this day, this is my absolute favourite camp. Can’t wait to return!
For anyone planning an unforgettable Botswana safari seeking a luxury experience combined with incredible wildlife, Tuludi Camp Botswana should be at the very top of your list.
